Description

Qualitative data analysis (QDA) software designed to help researchers analyse and organise data derived from qualitative and mixed methods research such as interviews, focus groups and surveys.

It is designed to help researchers and students manage, analyse, and visualise qualitative data efficiently. You can import different types of data, including PDFs and other documents, survey responses, articles, notes, web content, social media content, images and photographs, video recordings, audio recordings, and citations.

Bond is subscribed to NVivo14. If you are a staff member or higher-degree research student (HDR) seeking access to NVivo Transcription or NVivo Collaboration Cloud, please contact the Associate Dean of Research or Research Development Manager in your faculty to discuss funding. 

Training

For in-depth training, Lumivero, the developer of NVivo, offers an NVivo Core Skills online course for Windows or Mac. This is available at no cost for Bond staff and students. 

  1. Email askalibrarian@bond.edu.au using your Bond email account to request the course code required for free training. Let us know whether you are using Mac or Windows.
  2. Sign up for a myLumivero account at https://training.mynvivo.com/learn.
  3. Once logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the dashboard (the page that opens when you first log onto the training platform) and enter the course code in the 'Apply NVivo Course Code Here' section.
