Downloading documents

When attempting to download documents in i2i, a DRM Protected Document message will pop up (image below).

Australian Standards on the i2i platform uses Vitrium digital rights management (DRM) software which applies watermarking and prevents sharing of standards or storing on another device.

Previously, downloading Australian Standards required the FileOpen plugin. Since Vitrium's DRM implementation in October 2023, the FileOpen DRM plugin is no longer required.

Vitrium-protected pdfs can be opened with Adobe Reader, Acrobat or Foxit Reader.
