About this style

Vancouver is a numbered referencing style:

  • In-text citations appear in consecutive numerical order, indicated by superscript numbers.
  • References containing full bibliographic details are listed at the end of the document. References are listed numerically, in the order in which they appear in-text.

This guide is intended to assist Bond students in preparing references for their assignments.

It is based on the AMA Manual of Style, 11th Edition, Chapter 3.0 - References. It has minor additions to reflect student assignment requirements.

Students may use this guide to create references manually or with EndNote.
