Bond Vancouver referencing

This guide will help you discover how to reference a source in the Bond Vancouver style.

Using EndNote with Bond Vancouver referencing

EndNote software allows you to create your own personal database of references, known as an EndNote library. It's a way to keep track of the references you use for your work, and it can also automatically do much of the work of referencing for you.

You must first install EndNote on your laptop/computer. See this page for information.

To use EndNote to reference according to the above Vancouver Style document:

  • Download the Bond Vancouver style
  • Click the downloaded .ens file to open it with EndNote
  • In EndNote go to File > Save As. Give the style an appropriate name, eg. Bond Vancouver
  • You will now be able to select that style for use in EndNote

For more help with EndNote see the Library's EndNote Guide. You can also get in touch with the Library for any further help you need using EndNote.

AMA Style Manual

The Bond Vancouver guide is based on the AMA Manual of Style 10th ed. Refer to the manual if you need more detail than the guide provides. The manual is available on the library shelves at R119.A533 2007. You will be most interested in Section 3 of the manual, References.
