Manually
If you are unable to import references into your EndNote library, you can add them manually. This is particularly useful for adding webpage references.
Follow the instructions below to add a reference manually to your library.
- Click the New Reference button.
- Select a Reference Type, such as Journal Article.
- Enter information for the reference in the fields displayed.
- Close the reference window and save your changes.
Entering a group author
When entering group author names, place a comma after the entry:
World Health Organization,
Apple Computer Inc.,
The comma does not appear within your formatted reference, but ensures that EndNote does not try to format the reference as it does for a person.
